Location

Williamsburg, Brooklyn is quite literally the trendiest and most happening neighborhood in the trendiest and most happening city in the world.

Right atop both an East-West L Train and North-South G Train stop, you're in lower Manhattan in no time at all (central 14th Street / Union Square to all Manhattan trains in 4-6 minutes by L; literally 6-8 total minutes from the apartment door), and easily up and down to other parts of Brooklyn via the G. Walkable to all of Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Bushwick and BedStuy, if you choose to not take the train, and the Williamsburg Bridge into Manhattan is a beautiful stroll on the most pedestrian-friendly bridge in the city.

Commutes, if Service is Regular:

Bedford Ave shopping district - 5 min walk, or 2 mins West on the L

Manhattan (1st Ave, closest) - 5 mins West on the L

Union Square (central lower Manhattan, connections to all other trains) - 7 mins West on the L

Greenpoint - 6 mins walk, or 4 mins North on the G

Queens - 10 mins North on the G

BedStuy - 20 min walk, or 5 mins South on the G

Southern Brooklyn (Fort Green, Boerum Hill, Carroll Gardens, Park Slope, etc) - 10+ mins South on the G

The apartment is as well one block from the major "Metropolitan" exit off the 278 Highway (BQE), and parking is always a synch. ...Though there has been construction that may make parking a tad tighter (as well as on alternate-side street cleaning mornings, Tues & Wed 8:30-10am).

The neighborhood has an adorable small-town feel!

About host

The Agrarian Home Family

The Agrarian Home is the interior design studio, styling, locations and events outfit of a family of diverse creatives.

They've personally gathered and served over two hundred longtable dinners, also often assisting the traveling 'Outstanding in The Field' table-on-farm banquets. In the events realm, they've been on the programming staff of festivals of many genre (Sundance, Cannes, Brooklyn Film Fest, many galleries, writer retreats, workshops, too many music fests to count), and host talent-share salons for artists and academics to share their work for a cozy living room audience.

In Upstate New York, they’ve renovated a 1,000-sq-ft 1960's log cabin with a tiny-home backhouse in the Catskills gem of Phoenicia, and are now the family behind the known-to-be epic 4,000-sq-ft 1790’s post-‘n-beam barn conversion property in Orange County that encompasses a cathedral barn side with soaring 30ft ceilings, a farmhouse cottage side with that style of charm, and at a mere hour and change from the city with a bus from Port Authority. This property as well has an addendum 1,000-sq-ft raw and whitewashed post-n-beam barn studio with 30ft ceilings.

In New York City, they helm The Palm, a two-bedroom 2,500-sq-ft artist’s loft space in Clinton Hill, and The Fig, a darling 360-sq-ft pied-à-terre in Williamsburg, both of which are among the most coveted shoot location, workcation and staycay/vacay rentals in their categories.

They so enjoy sharing the loft, the studio, the cabin, the tiny home, the farmhouse, the barn and raw studio. Welcome to The Agrarian Home portfolio!
